Bleu Encre, Hermès' latest addition to their stable of blue, translates in English to Blue Ink, and a name could not be closer to the reality of this near-navy. But Navy it is not, as in person the strong undertones of some sharpie-esque purple flash out as the light moves over the leather. Its not Indigo, its not Electric, its not Sapphire, its inky and unique. Bleu Encre is, we dare say, incroyable.
